According to the updates on the health of Simon Cowell on Sunday night, finally he is in good spirits in his first-ever public comments on social media after the surgery of his back which was followed by an electric bike accident. In a series of tweets on Twitter and posts on Instagram, he shared “some good advice” on safety while using the electric bike and showed his gratitude towards the medical team involved in his care.

After undergoing a back surgery followed by an electric bike accident, Simon Cowell is recuperating.
A spokesperson for Cowell told Deadline“He broke his back in a few places. They operated overnight, the surgery went well, and he is in the hospital recovering.”
As per the sources of People, the surgery of America’s Got Talent judge lasted for nearly five hours and “has had to have a number of fusions and metal rod put into his back.”
Due to this injury, Cowell will have to skip two live AGT shows in the coming week on Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12.

Simon Cowell was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after an electric bike accident which left him with a severe back injury.
Reps for the judge of America’s Got Talent told People that the accident took place Saturday afternoon when Cowell was testing the vehicle at his Malibu home with family.
A spokesperson for the AGT judge and X-Factor creator said in a statement, “Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family. He hurt his back and was taken to the hospital. He’s doing fine, he’s under observation and is in the best possible hands.”
The spokesperson added that “Simon has broken his back and will undergo surgery this evening.”
Deadline has approached NBC and Fremantle for getting the information about the impact of surgery on duties of Cowell on America’s Got Talent, which is in production presently. The first live has been scheduled for Tuesday, August11.
In July, an announcement was made that full command of AGT and The X Factor producer Syco Entertainment will be in the hands of Cowell. After he agreed for buying the stake of Sony Music Entertainment in a joint venture, the takeover will take place.
