After snow plowing accident, Jeremy Renner is in ‘critical but stable’ condition

Jeremy Renner’s status is “serious but stable” after a weather-related accident.

“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with weather-related injuries sustained while ploughing snow earlier today,” Renner’s representative confirmed to Variety. His family is present and he is receiving superb medical treatment.

According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, although the location of the accident has not been confirmed, Renner has had a residence in Washoe County, Nevada for several years. According to the newspaper, this region of northern Nevada had considerable snowfall on New Year’s Eve due to a storm.

In 2015, Renner posted a photo to Instagram of a snowcat, a vehicle meant to traverse icy terrain under challenging conditions.

In 2017, the actor claimed that while filming the comedy “Tag,” he shattered his right elbow and left wrist.

Since the 2011 blockbuster “Thor,” Renner has starred in many Marvel productions as Clint Barton/Hawkeye. Renner has been in a number of critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including two “Mission: Impossible” films, “Arrival,” “American Hustle,” and “28 Weeks Later.” He has also been nominated for two Academy Awards, including a nomination for best supporting actor for his work in “The Hurt Locker.”

Currently, he is starring in the Taylor Sheridan series “Mayor of Kingstown,” whose second season premieres in January. He also recently announced “Rennervations,” an unscripted series he will feature in for Disney Plus in 2023.
