The last Goal by Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich made the win of Bayern Munich possible over Borussia Dortmund with a close score of 3-2. This would be the fifth title Bayern Munich is lifting in this year 2020.
In the first half of the game, Bayern maintained the lead of 2-0 in which players Corentin Tolisso and Thomas Mueller did the goals. Before the break, the opposite team tried to equalize but Julian Brandt stopped that goal from happening.
However, in the second half of the game, Kimmich made that winning goal. Though his first attempt at goal was blocked by Marwin Hitz-Goalkeeper of Dortmund he still managed to score a goal for the team in the last 8 minutes of the game.
In appreciation Bayern’s Captian Manuel Neur said “Joshua is a classy player. The way he chipped that ball in.”
With Sunday Defeat at Hoffenheim broke their winning streak of 23 games but Bayern bounced back to action and won against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
Head coach of Bayern Hansi Flick said “He (Kimmich) has enormous quality, he is in great form.” Under his guidance, the team has won 8 titles including the Bundesliga title, the German Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and the Champions League this year.
Coach Flick has made some changes after the defeat at Hoffenheim in the team. Leroy Sane didn’t play because of a knee injury. With that Leon Goetzka also rested and Segre Gnabry was benched in the start.
It was a very interesting match to watch with Bayern’s leading with 2-0 in the first half but just before the break, Brandt scored a goal making the score to 2-1.
On 55 minutes Dortmund scored their second goal when midfielder Thomas Delaney strategically pass on to Haaland and he made the beautiful goal. On 55 minutes the scores were 2-2.
With all the pressure of winning Kimmich of Bayern Munich steal the ball from Delaney and with Lewandowski’s support, he made the winning goal.
Though the goalkeeper of Dortmund Hitz blocked the initial attempt but Kimmich scored the goal in the rebound.
