Chinese Company is disqualified from Delhi-Meerut RRTGS ₹ 1797 Cr Contract.

Finally, the good news is here, which the entire nation was united for! The Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) wanted the government of India to cancel a tender which was won by a Chinese firm. Due to the aggression at the Galwan in Ladakh which led to our 20 soldiers being martyred, the movement to boycott Chinese Goods has taken momentum. It will be a big blow to the Chinese economy if such huge tenders are taken from them.

Although, initially it was said that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) which had conducted the bidding process said that it will not be able to cancel the contract from the Chinese company. The reason stated behind this was that it was funded by ADB and their rules are against the cancellation.

Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Company Limited (STEC)  was the lowest bidder for the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System for the underground stretch. The STEC had bidded for  Rs 1,126.9 crore while L&T’s was close at 1,170 crores. This will connect Delhi and Meerut via Ghaziabad.

But, now we see this contract from Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Company Limited (STEC) has been taken and given to L&T.

We thank the government of India for taking this step and we want to press against this point to all the citizens that first Corona and now Galwan, it’s time to hit China back. We civilians can only do it by boycotting Chinese goods and rest we can leave on our Indian Army and the Government. They know their job and will do it.

Who all are with us in this, comment “YES” in the section below.
