Elden Ring on PS5 and PS4 is now $10 off at Amazon

Elden Ring has been the talk of the town since its release at the end of February. It has taken over the landscape of gaming discourse, and for good reason. If you mainly play games on Sony’s PlayStation consoles, now is the perfect time to dive into FromSoftware’s open world on its acclaimed dark fantasy “Souls-esque” formula. Amazon has both the physical PS4 and PS5 versions of Elden Ring for $49.94 – a discount of about $10.

That might not sound like a huge price cut, but the only sales of this popular title so far have been on the Xbox and PC versions. Plus, taking into account how many hours you can pump into The Lands Between (many of us on The edge crossed the 100-hour mark on our first playthrough), makes it an even more significant value proposition. And if you get stuck, our friends at polygon have written comprehensive guides to help you break free. Read our review

Even if you’re a PlayStation gamer, this next Xbox deal still applies to you. Microsoft’s Xbox stereo headset has fallen again to its lowest price of $45 at Walmart. This wired headset may look like its own product for Xbox, but the 3.5mm headphone cable means it might work just as well on a PS4. or PS5 by connecting it to the controller. One of its most useful features — the rotating ear cup that adjusts the volume — even works on both Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The flexible compatibility of this headset also extends to PC and Nintendo Switch.

While there are a ton of great headsets out there that offer a lot more features, the Xbox Stereo Headset is a great bang for the buck if you want something a little more fun than the most basic options on the market. The sound quality may not be the best for music, but it sounds good for games and it’s paired with a good microphone. Read our review

Xbox stereo headset

Microsoft’s Xbox Stereo Headset provides a hassle-free, wired solution for gaming on the Xbox One and Series X/S, as well as PCs, and just about anything with a 3.5mm jack. The gaming headset is similar to the Xbox Wireless Headset, but does not have features such as the chat/game audio mix button.

If you’re looking for a Chromebook that feels more like a laptop than a tablet, the Lenovo Flex 5 is a perfect mid-range option that won’t break the bank or feel too cheap. The 13-inch Flex 5 retails for $299 at Best Buy — a $120 saving off the regular price of $419. This is a base model with a Pentium 7505 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage. So while it won’t win many spec wars, it offers a lot for this discounted price, including one of the best backlit keyboards of any Chromebook we’ve used.

The Lenovo Flex 5 also has a much better port selection than most Chromebooks in this price range, with a microSD card slot and USB-C connections on both sides. The main downside is battery life, but unless you travel often, it’s great to use as a traditional laptop or fold into tent mode with its touchscreen. Read our review

Our final main deal for today is one we covered earlier this week, but it’s such a good deal it’s worth mentioning one more time before the sale ends. The Roborock S7 robot vacuum is currently priced at $479.99 on Amazon, when you click the $170 coupon on the page. Typically selling for $649.99, this hybrid vacuum and mop offers many great features, such as spot cleaning, mapping software to help you navigate your home more efficiently, and it even automatically lifts its mop when it rolls over carpeting. You can get the same S7 vacuum in a Plus version with a self-emptying dock for around $950, but rest assured you can save the money and skip that extra cost as it has an unfortunate tendency to clog.

While the battery life could be better, the Roborock S7 is one of our top picks for the best robot vacuums money can buy, and it’s the best hybrid with a mop overall. This sale, which expires tomorrow, makes it an even better buy. Read our review
