On the show “Sunday Today” when Willie Geist asked Kelly Clarkson about her post-divorce, means how is she doing after separation she said “I mean, it’s no secret. My life has been a little bit of a dumpster … personally, it’s been a little hard the last couple of months.”
She further added that “I’ve been talking to friends that have been through a divorce. I don’t know how people go through that without having some kind of outlet because it is the worst thing ever for everyone involved.”
Amid “Irreconcilable Differences” with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, Kelly decided for the divorce. They both together have two children one daughter River Rose and One son Remington. Kelly has requested the custody of both the children.
She said the next record that she is releasing will largely on her personal life and this would be the first of its kind. She never has released this much personal song before.
She said in the interview that “The whole record is basically every emotion you experience from the beginning of a relationship to the end of what it is now or where it is now and it’s been very therapeutic for me.”
She further added that “There’s one that my kids sing in the car. I’ve never written about my life to where my kids are singing along.”
Further in the interview, Clarkson said that the Winning the Daytime Emmy Award in June was the only bright thing happened this Summer. She won the award for her Eponymous Talk Show. She said “I totally forgot that the Emmys were on … My executive producer Alex calls me and is, like, ‘You are the best host.’ And I was, like, ‘Thank you.’ “And I was having kind of a hard week, and I literally almost started crying.”
Her career on TV is all blooming after she judged the famous Singing reality Show “The Voice” as a replacement for Simon Cowell while he was recovering for his injuries from the bike accident.
