People who went to Beyoncé’s private concert in Dubai to celebrate the Atlantis the Royal hotel weren’t allowed to record any of her show. They were even given pouches to keep their phones safe, but not everyone in the crowd did what the queen asked, for which fans all over the world are grateful.
The concert, which was only for people who were invited, was part of the unofficial opening of the Atlantis the Royal hotel. There was also an Ivy Park fashion lounge by the pool. Many famous people, like Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Ellen Pompeo, Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, and Jay-Z, went to the event.
This was Beyoncé’s first concert in four years, and pictures and videos posted online show that it was a masterpiece. The show took place outside, in front of and above a huge fountain. Per Entertainment Beyoncé performed tonight with Firdaus, a 48-person all-female orchestra, and the Mayyas, a female dance troupe. Fatima Robinson did the choreography. Fireworks went off during the show, and Beyoncé was lifted 16 feet into the air for a stunt. Beyoncé wore three different outfits, all of which were designed by Dolce & Gabbana, Atelier Zuhra from Dubai, Nicolas Jebran from Lebanon, and Frolov from Ukraine. KJ Moody was in charge of putting together the looks.
And if you think the details are crazy, just wait until you see the leaked videos of her flying up into the sky and singing “Drunk in Love” while fireworks go off behind her. Other online leaks show Beyoncé performing “Naughty Girl,” “Crazy in Love,” and “Brown Skin Girl,” which she sang with some help from her daughter Blue Ivy. Variety said that the set list included songs from her whole career, but that she didn’t play any songs from her most recent album, RENAISSANCE.
I wouldn’t normally support someone going against Beyoncé’s wishes by looking for leaked footage, but Lizzo admitted to watching the leaked show by tweeting that she watched the whole thing “on an IG live across a body of water of a hotel and I’m not ashamed.” Do what you want with that information.
