Five Shah Rukh Khan Movies to Look out for in 2021

All the fans of King Khan have reasons to rejoice as he is all set to return to the silver screen after a hiatus of almost three long years. He was last seen in 2018 in Anand L Rai’s –Zero. Though the film did not do great at the box office, he was acclaimed for his performance like all his other work.

Following is the list of the five upcoming films of the superstar for the year 2021.

1. Pathan 

The actor recently turned 55 and is gearing to resume shooting for his upcoming action movie. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand, and the movie features Deepika and John Abraham along with him. It is a battle royale between the two actors with Deepika playing an important thread and takes the narrative forward.

2. Brahmastra

It is Ayan Mukherji’s ambitious Sci-fi movie featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh shall play a small but significant role in the film. He shall play a scientist in this most awaited film.

3. Sanki

One more Shah Rukh- Deepika movie for the year after Pathan, is a Tamil director Atlee’s film. In this movie, Shah Rukh shall play a double role. In one role he plays a gangster and in the other, he is a special forces officer.

4. Untitled movie with Rajkumar Hirani

The movie will move from Punjab to Canada and Shah Rukh is reportedly growing his hair for the role. The film has got delayed for shooting, due to the pandemic. The actor will play the role of a guy who is jovial as well as emotional.

5. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

The actor will do another cameo in R Madhavan’s directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. It is a biographical drama that is based on the life of scientist and ISRO aerospace engineer, Nambi Narayan. SRK shall play the role of the journalist who interviewed the scientist and will give a glimpse of the scientist’s life through the interviews and flashbacks.
