KL Rahul, captain of the Kings XI Punjab, made it big with his century against RCB. He was out on 21 runs in his previous match. But did not take much longer for his victorious comeback. He scored a big 132 run off 69 balls and remained unbeaten till the end.
The player has improved his image as one of the best T20 batsmen worldwide. He opened the innings against RCB and remained not out till the end and helped the team make a score of 206. He made his century in 62 balls in the nineteenth over, which was bowled by Dale Steyn.
He hit a six in the first ball, and in the second ball, he hit a four and marked the triple-digit score. He did not stop there. He shot two more sixes and a boundary. In the last over, bowled by his Indian colleague, Shivam Dube, Rahul was unstoppable and hit a six and a four.
With his heroic century in the match, he also became the first captain with the highest score in IPL. In total, he gave 14 boundaries and seven sixes. After his triumphant performance, the player has garnered lots of praise on social media by the cricket fraternity.
