The British star Hugh Grant might cast in Guy Ritchie’s next project, which stars Jason Statham in the main role. The actor is said to be in negotiation talks with the filmmaker, and if everything gets finalized, Hugh will a part o the movie which was titled ‘Five Eyes’ earlier.
The movie will show the re-union of Ritchie and Grant, after they collaborate in the movie ‘The Gentlemen’, 2019. As per the reports, Ritchie would direct the new film from a screenplay written by Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies. Statham is reported to play the lead as a gun-and-steel agent, recruited by the global intelligence alliance Five Eyes. He will be seen tracking down and stopping the sale of dangerous new weapons technology which shall threaten to disrupt the whole world.
He will be seen unwillingly paired with a CIA high-tech expert. He would set off on a worldwide running mission, where he would use all his intelligence, stealth, ingenuity, and charm to track down and also infiltrate the billionaire arms broker.
The cast of the film also has Aubrey Plaza, Josh Harnett, and Cary Elwes. The project will be financed by Miramax and produced by STXfilms.
It is noteworthy that Grant is known for movies like Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Love Actually. Recently he has also starred in the HBO series –‘The Undoing’ opposite Nicole Kidman.
