Intel debuts 11th generation core processors for Thin and Light Laptops

On Wednesday, Intel announced a new processor, which was codenamed ‘Tiger Lake, ’ which is the 11th generation of its Core processors. The processor is based on a new 10nm willow cover design for light and thin laptops. The Tiger Lake is faster and more efficient than the Ice lake processor, its predecessor.

The Tiger Lake processor promises a huge upgrade in the graphic presentation with the new Xe graphics.

The Core i3, i5, and i7 will have the Intel 11 processor. The Tiger Lake will also support the new Thunderbolt 4 interface, which transfers data at 40 GB/s. It also supports two 4k displays or one 8k display and has a 3000 MB/s.

The company is also working on a new project called ‘Intel Evo.’ If the laptop is Intel Evo Branded, then on a single charge, the laptop can work for 9 hours. Such laptops will support Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6.
