IPL 2020: Quarantine, safety protocols welcome cricketers on UAE touchdown

The first team to reach UAE was Rajasthan Royals. They are all advised to quarantine themselves for the first six days as a safety measurement. The players were also given a fitness plan which was handed out by their trainers. Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab players arrived on Thursday evening, while the Kolkata Knight Riders in the night.

As per the SOP given by the BCCI, the players will be tested in days 1,3 and 6 after which they will be starting the training for the most awaited game series IPL 2020. The Royal’s team has finished their first testing on the airport itself, the KXIP went for the repeat testing on Friday.

Since no player was allowed to move out of their places as per the protocol for the first six days, they fully utilized their balconies to speak to each other. Of course, they did maintain the social distancing norm.
