JEET, NEET Exam 2020: COVID Undertaking from students, no physical frisking, Center finalizes SOP for Major Exams Next Month
There is no postponing of the exam dates for JEE and NEET 2020, as per the Supreme Court ruling. Keeping the safety of the students in mind during the pandemic, the Center has finalized the SOP to conduct the examinations safely.
The tests will be conducted by the National Testing Agency. The JEE exam dates are September 1 to September 6 for B.E/B.Tech. , B.Arch, B.Planning at 605 centers, 489 centers, and 224 centers respectively in India as well as in 8 cities abroad. All these exams will be online. The NEET exam will be conducted offline on September 13 across 161 centers.
The guidelines for the candidates include them to carry a self-declaring COVID undertaking along with their admit card. In case the candidate could not download the admit card, he/she may send it through mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the pandemic, no posts will be sent for the admit card.
The SOP for the centers says that all the examination points will be well sanitized before the exams. The centers will be provided masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, and disinfectant sprays. They will also be given thermometers for taking temperatures at the entrance itself. No physical frisking or physical document verification will take place and the admit card will be shown from a distance.
