Jennifer Aniston supports Black Lives Matter movement, donates $1 Million to anti-racism charity

Popular Sitcom FRIENDS star made a donation of $ 1 Million to Color Of Change Charity to support the Black Lives Matter movement after George Floyd’s death. 

George Floyd, 46, died after being arrested by police outside a shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota

A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Like most people, Jen has been deeply affected by what is going on in America and the terrible injustice that people of colour experience every day. She wanted to show her support, and has donated a big sum to the charity she felt resonated with her the most. The link is on her Instagram page so her fans can also donate.”

Jennifer opened up how heartbroken she is . She also spoke out about racism and how important it is to demand for justice.

In one of her Instagram posts she wrote : “This week has been heartbreaking for so many reasons. We need to acknowledge that the racism and brutality in this country has been going on for a long time – and it’s NEVER been okay”.

In her another Instagram post she shared a black picture to coincide with Blackout Tuesday. She captioned it : “Black lives matter. #blackouttuesday

Aniston was among one of the stars who took a stand against inequality faced by black people till date.
