Jessi Combs, race car driver name has been posted in the Guinness World Records when they counter her speed, where she broke the record and awarded with fastest land speed record done by a female. On the day when there was an attempt made in the Alvord Desert of southeast Oregon when Combs who is just 39 years by last year had died in an accident.
She had broken the record of clocking to a speed of 522.783 mph in the jet-powered car. In the 40 years, she was the first person to do so as per Guinness. A previous record was made in 1976 by Stunt driver Kitty O’Neil who reached till 510.710 mph till the same place.
Comb’s partner, Terry Madden, said on Instagram that he does not know how to feel for her achievement. On the same morning, she woke with to make history and they both had an amazing day. This attempt will be last on that record. There was an accident that occurred for the front wheel assembly as she lowers at the end of the run but she did everything right.
She is an automotive industry as a legend. In her resume, there are all firsts as 1st woman to compete in The Race of Gentlemen event as well as 1st woman for placing at any Ultra4 event. She was even being dubbed in 2013 as the fastest woman on 4 wheels when she had made a record in the race with 398 mph in the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger.
