Interacting with the Kohima District Sports Council chairman, the representatives expressed concerns about their respective disciplines.
The district basketball association expressed concern about the dismantling of the only existing court in Khuochiezie (local ground in Kohima), leaving the players helpless and without a place to practice.
To this end, the DC suggested designating its own basketball court, after which the municipality can seek approval for use until development work on the local property is completed.
The Angami Sports Association has also recommended coordination with the other sports organizations, especially the athletics organization, to nominate players who have winning records in the recently held meeting.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and attended by the ADC, SDO(C) and DSO.
