Matt Damon Fuels Speculation about his Casting in Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’

Good news for all Marvel’s fans as another Oscar-winner might join the star-studded cast of Marvel’s upcoming ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.

Actor Matt Damon, who had done a cameo in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, has given rise to speculation that he too has joined the ensemble cast after he shared his excitement about filming in Australia.

The actor said in his latest interview that he, his wife Luciana, and their daughters Isabella, Gia, and Stella have moved to Australia for a few months.

In an interview which he gave to Daily Mail, Matt shared, “I’m so excited that my family and I will be able to call Australia home for the next few months.

His move down under comes amid reports that he has joined the cast of the fourth instalment of the ‘Thor’ franchise. Damon last played the role of an Asgardian actor and made a cameo in a comical play in the film.

‘Thor 4’ will see actors Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reprise their roles as the God of Thunder and Jane Foster, respectively. The two stars have been filming in Australia for the past month.

Also joining the cast is ‘The Dark Knight’ actor, Christian Bale, who will play the villain Gorr The God Butcher. As his character’s name suggests, rumours are rife that Bale’s role will not be a one-off part, but he may just go on to play the supervillain who will pose as an even bigger threat than Thanos ever could.
