All sorts of exciting new products were announced, and hopefully some of them will appear in this promotional newsletter as they launch later in the year. As for this weekend’s deals, we’re focusing on some popular products that we think will make your life a little better. Stay warm out there.
A specified Surface Pro 8 costs $1,599.99 at Best Buy
See, it’s never affordable to get the most high-end version of a sought-after tablet. That is why most people choose to buy the most affordable and give up. However, if you’re looking for a Windows tablet that can offer great performance, a refresh rate 120Hz display, and other fine features highlighted in our Surface Pro 8 review by Monica Chin, check out Best Buy’s current deal. Normally $1,899.99, Microsoft’s Surface Pro 8 with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and Intel’s Core i7-1185G7 processor is just $1,599.99. Note: You must provide the Type Cover if you want an accessory that can provide a keyboard and screen cover, which usually costs around $100.
For something cheaper, Lenovo’s Chrome OS 10e tablet is just $100
There are people who are willing to pay $1,599.99 for a tablet, and people who are not. Whether you need a tablet for entertainment, or just a tablet to pass on to your kid, Lenovo’s 10e may be a better fit. First, it’s on sale from Lenovo for $99 instead of $334 (discount applies at checkout), which is about 6 percent of the Surface Pro 8’s total cost. The 10th isn’t trying to compete with the best of them, but it’s a better deal than most 10-inch tablets on offer today (especially if you’re trying to avoid Amazon’s Fire tablets). It has a glossy 1920 x 1200 IPS touchscreen that can get plenty bright with a peak brightness of 400 nits, as well as 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It can also handle video calls and photos with its front and rear cameras.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses (a real gem of a Switch game) costs $40 at Walmart
If you have ideas for your next game, I’ll get to work for Fire Emblem: Three Houses for anyone who will listen. It’s a turn-based strategy game that never goes so deep that its mechanics get entangled, and outside of combat, the gripping stories are set in a college where you, as their teacher, befriend many of your fellow soldiers while strengthening them for conflict. The writing is great, as is the music. Normally $59.99, Walmart has digital copies of this game for $39.99. Read our review.
The OnePlus 9 will cost $599.99 until January 22
The OnePlus 9 is a fine phone if you value some of its most capable specs – including a Snapdragon 888, a 120Hz refresh rate display and a great ultra-wide camera – without spending flagship prices. Our reviewer Allison Johnson thinks most people should be happy with the OnePlus 9 rather than the 9 Pro, although it won’t please photographers who crave main camera stabilization and a telephoto lens. Otherwise, this phone could give Google’s Pixel 6, which normally starts at $599, a run for its money. Right now, you can buy an unlocked 128GB model with 8GB of RAM from Best Buy and Amazon for $599.99.
Apple’s latest AirPods Pro are 26 percent off at Woot
You may have missed the many great deals taking place on Apple’s AirPods Pro wireless earbuds that support active noise canceling and MagSafe charging. If so, check out Woot’s deal that brings the price all the way down to $184.99, a 26 percent discount off their original price of $250. You may remember better prices than these on the AirPods Pro. , but that was probably the previous generation model that omitted the MagSafe feature. All AirPods Pro models support spatial audio and can be easily paired with Apple devices with their H1 wireless chip.
