Nine Bangladeshi batters score 50-plus in Ranji match, break 129-year-old record

Bengaluru: Bangladesh’s Ranji cricket team set a global first-class record on Thursday when all nine batters who took the watch scored a half-century in a massive first innings score of 773 for eight against an unlucky Jharkhand on the third day of the quarterfinals, here .

At stumps, Jharkhand was 139 for 5 in their first innings and it is virtually impossible to stop Bengal from entering the semi-finals as the opposition now leaves 634 runs behind.
