OnePlus is one of the well-known brands in the phone market today. It is making great mobile phones which are competing with high-end brands such as Apple, and Samsung. Recently, it has officially announced to launch a mid-range smartphone, the NORD.
The estimated price of the Nord is set at $480. However, its specifications are almost similar to OnePlus 8, which is available in the market at $699. Now, let us talk about the difference between the specifications of both these handsets.
Just like OnePlus 8, it consists of a 1080p OLED display, fast charging, 48-megapixel camera, and even the same 90Hz refreshing rate. Being a lower price range device, OnePlus is offering these amazing features. But, one of the most important things about Nord is its slow processor. It is powered by Snapdragon 765G, which is slower as compared to OnePlus 8.
On the face, the Nord supports a large 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED 2400 x 1080 display (408 PPI). The screen has a 20:9 visible feature ratio and also appearance a 90Hz refresh rate out of the box, but you can change that down to 60Hz to keep battery life. In addition to Face Unlock, the Nord also include an in-display fingerprint sensor for an extra coat of security.
Having a 90Hz full HD screen is the best option for the price, and it reliefs with day-to-day usage — even if you don’t have a great deal with your game section on your device. The only concern you can have about the display is that it’s probably graded with a bit too warm colors for audience liking.
Although OnePlus disclosed full information about the Nord on Tuesday, many of the main details about the device likely haven’t come as much of amazement is yet too disclosed by OnePlus.
