Paul Pogba Tests Positive for COVID-19


Manchester United Midfielder ‘Paul Pogba’ has tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday. The player was supposed to play the UEFA Nations League against Sweden and Croatia on September 5 and 8. But now, he is reportedly not the part of the French League.

Paul will be replaced by a teenager ‘Eduardo Camavinga’, who will be a part of the national camp for the first time. Along with him, Lyon’s Houssem Aouar and RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano will also do their debut in the national camp. Deschamps said that he had to remove Paul’s name as he was found positive for the COVID-19 and that he had to make last-minute changes.

Earlier this week, Miralem Pjanic from Juventus has also tested positive for COVID-19. He was tested after the player complained of discomfort. Later he was isolated at home and is feeling better now. He will also not be traveling to Barcelona for 15 days, and will later join the Barca.
