Philips offers a discount on bundles of its outdoor accessories

Even with Amazon Prime Day 2022 just around the corner, starting Tuesday, July 12, there are plenty of early Prime Day deals to check out, in and out of Amazon. One of the highlights is Philips Hue smart bulbs. There is a promotion where you get a 15 percent discount on your total when you buy two or more outdoor lamps. This includes outdoor lighting strips, accent lighting and other Hue essentials you may want, such as the Hue outdoor sensor and Hue Bridge, the latter of which allow you to easily control and coordinate your smart bulbs via an app. This promotion ends after July 17th.

Finding a budget-friendly laptop with decent specs can be an uphill battle, but Acer’s Aspire 5 is one of those rare options that manages to pack in some pretty impressive hardware without breaking the bank. The Aspire 5’s high-end configuration is currently on sale on Amazon for just $549.99 ($100 off), one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for this mid-range laptop.

The Aspire 5 has a 15.6-inch, 1920 x 1080 display, in addition to 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. It also offers a comfortable backlit keyboard and surprisingly powerful speakers for those times when you don’t have headphones.

In terms of connectivity, the Aspire 5 features an HDMI port for connecting to an external display, a trio of USB-A ports for peripherals, and a single USB-C port for data transfer. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack and an Ethernet port. Read our review.
