Police: At least 17 shot, with 3 dead, across Cincinnati

The authorities said that gunfire took place in several parts of the city overnight which killed three out of seventeen people who were shot on Sunday. The first death reported was of Antonio Blair at the Avondale neighborhood. He was just 21. He was taken to the University Hospital by the police and died there. The police were informed about this near 12.30 a.m.

Again the officers were reported of the gunfire at around 2.15 a.m. where ten people were shot. Out of them, one died on the spot and the other died at the University Hospital. They were identified as Robert Rogers and Jaquiez Grant, who were 34 and 30 years old respectively.

Also, three people were shot in the Walnut Hills neighborhood at about midnight. According to the news outlets the firing had taken place within a span of 60 to 90 minutes of each other, assuming a connection in them. But the Assistant Police Chief Paul Neudigate said that they all seemed to be independent incidents.
