Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are setting their roots in Santa Barbara, California. As per the reports of CNN, the couple moved into their new house last month.
Their spokesperson said, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year. They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors and for them as well as a family.”
Now the couple will be able to call their celebrity friends such as Oprah Winfrey, who lives nearby and neighbors.
This new chapter of their life has come just a few after the completion of another chapter. In January, the couple announced their separation from the Royal family and gave up their royal titles. At that, they also announced they want to become financially independent.
Earlier this year, the couple posted in their previous Instagram account, “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year is starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
But it didn’t go as planned. In response, a statement was also released by the palace, and many conversations took place after that. After some time, the couple moved out with their son Archie to Canada. After this, the couple has preferred to keep a low profile after relocating to the home town of Markle, Los Angeles. After officially giving up their royal duties in March this year, the couple has been spotted serving meals to the residents who are in need during this time pandemic.
Now Markle has also started appearing back in Hollywood as the narrator for the documentary Elephants of Disney+.
