Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Episode 1 Review

The first episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City aired today. And from the first episode, you can say that they are filthy rich. They form an elite social group with loads of money and a class.

The episode aired this Wednesday night, with new episodes rolling out every week.

The first episode had its 75 mins devoted to introducing the six cast members of the show and with a couple of catfights mixed in here and there.

The six characters are as follows:

  • Jen Shah
  • Heather Gay
  • Meredith Marks
  • Lisa Barlow
  • Whitney Rose
  • Mary Cosby

The series previously had some backlashes regarding how racist it became sometimes. However, this season has rectified these errors and grew back from them. Overall, the series looks very promising, and it feels like it is depicting the Salt Lake City very nicely and accurately.

Apart from the mixed race cast, we are also seeing people of different religions too in the show. Among the cast, Mary Cosby is Pentecostal, Meredith is Jewish while Jen is a Muslim. Whitney is an excommunicated member of the church after she married her old boss with whom she had an affair.

The chaos and the entertainment factor of the show are also going well and sound promising enough too.

Episode 2 debuts on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. for Dish and DirecTV users and at 11 p.m. for Comcast users and will be airing on Bravo.
