STEP 1: Visit the official website www.aamantran.mod.gov.in.

STEP 2: If you’re a registered user then enter your mobile number and generate OTP

STEP3: If you’re a new user then fill in your personal details like name, date of birth, address and phone number.

STEP 4: Login using your registered mobile number and OTP

STEP 5: After login, the ticket booking page will open up on your screen. Select the type of event (FDR-Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Rehearsal-Beating The Retreat, Beating The Retreat – FDR, Beating The Retreat Ceremony).

Tips for buying tickets from offline counters

– Any government identification card such as an Aadhar card or voter id must be presented while buying the ticket

– Government identification cards like Aadhar cards, Voter IDs, Driving Licenses, PAN cards, and passports are valid. These cards will also be required to be carried for visiting the ceremony of Republic Day/Beating Retreat Rehearsal.

– Children below the age of 5 years shall not be allowed. However, children above the age of 5 years will be allowed valid tickets.

– Tickets once sold will not be refunded.

Major Attractions Of Republic Day Celebrations 2023

1. The Parade

On this day, the parade at Rajpath is the main attraction of the entire event. Generally, nine to twelve regiments of the Indian Army march past the President honouring him with a salute.  

This parade commences with honouring the winners of the gallantry awards which is followed by the display of various tanks, missiles along other military equipment. After this, other armed forces like police as well as Home Guards along with the National Cadet Corps also display their zeal by marching on Rajpath.
