The star will be sentenced to informal probation for three years and more. Alexa Curtin, known for her role in Real Housewives of Orange County is facing the music after being found guilty in multiple criminal cases against her.
As per the reports, she has now been sentenced to 68 days in jail, and three years of probation, in addition to the restitution fees. The criminal offenses include possession of paraphernalia which is a controlled substance, driving under the influence without a driver and any valid license, petty theft, and vandalism.
She was ordered to complete a three-month first offender alcohol program. The 28-year-old reality show star has been for past several years been in and out of jail. Before her appearance in the court last week, she was on the run for nearly a year.
Despite her past, she would not serve the 68-day sentence. As per the reports, she was released the same day as she was credited with ‘time served’. She had already spent time behind the bars before last week’s court appearance.
Five separate cases have been lodged against her; however, the case of possessing a controlled substance was thrown out. But she has been facing potential probation violation since she was found guilty of charges of petty theft and battery. This case was filed against her in 2016.
Later it was found out that her probation for that particular case ended prior to the potential violation. She succeeded in avoiding an increased sentence. She has suffered a lot due to her drug abuse. She landed in many legal troubles and also her six years of married life ended in the process. She had filed a divorce from her separated husband Michael DeVecchio.
