Guwahati: Today, December 6, the last two games of Round of 16 are scheduled. In the first match Morocco will meet Spain at the Education City Stadium and later in the evening Portugal will play against Switzerland.
Spain finished second in Group E after a shock defeat to Japan in their last group game. While they may have one of the best squads in the tournament, Morocco, who led Canada to a 2-1 win last week, will look to continue their winning streak.
In one of only two all-European matches, Portugal and Switzerland, who have experienced very different fortunes in their last group matches, will try to secure a place in the quarter-finals. While Cristiano Ronaldo and Co will be the favorites to progress to the quarter-finals, Switzerland will try to match Portugal as South Korea did in the last match of the group stage.
