Guwahati: Today, December 5, two FIFA World Cup Round of 16 matches are scheduled. In the first match, Japan will face Croatia in an exciting game.
In their match against Croatia on Monday at the Al Janoub Stadium, Japan will look for another outstanding tournament win. Moriyasu’s super subs must remain efficient to make history on Monday. Japan are still trying to secure their first World Cup quarter-final appearance and are used to playing against the odds. They have averaged only 32.3% possession in Qatar so far.
The second game of the day will be played between Brazil and South Korea.
Brazil will take on South Korea in the round of 16 at Stadium 974 on Monday in a bid to win a record sixth FIFA World Cup. Brazil will aim to overcome their setback with Rigobert Song’s team and advance to the quarter-finals, where they lost 2-1 to Belgium four years ago. However, they will face a determined South Korean team who defied the odds in the group stage.
