Samsung has started sending out invitations for the second event of the year, which will be broadcast online at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2022. It’s called the Awesome Galaxy A event on the invite, and it’s dedicated to the phone maker’s A-series midrange devices, in case you weren’t aware.
It is rumored that Samsung will add two new phones to its lineup: the Galaxy A73 and A53. Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy A72 and A52 at an Unpacked event held around the same time. Both phones are due for a refresh, and it’s likely we’ll get our first glimpse of the event this month.
Rumors and leaks indicate that the Galaxy A73 and A53 could both ship with 5G, which would be an upgrade for the A72 in any case, as the A52 already has a 5G variant. The A73 is expected to come with the same 6.7-inch display, along with a Snapdragon 750G chip, while the A53 could have a 6.5-inch when paired with Samsung’s internal Exynos 1200 system on a chip (SoC). .
You can follow the Awesome Galaxy A event from March 17 when it goes live on the Samsung website and YouTube channel.
