Schedule Out for the IPL 2020: Watch Out

The wait is finally over for the 13th edition for the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the schedule is out. September 19th will be the opening match and will go till November 10. 

The opening game is going to be between the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) facing the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Wait for the action!

But we are thinking with two big blows to CSK with Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh dropping out from this season, how Dhoni’s team is going to make it big for all its fans all across. 

The matches are going to be held in Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Mostly the matches will be held in the afternoon so that the teams get time to travel to the different locations. 

The afternoon matches are going to begin at 3:30 PM IST and evening games at 7:30 PM IST. Total of 24 games to be hosted by Dubai, 20 by Abu Dhabi and 12 by Sharjah.

League matches to end on November 4

As far as the IPL schedule is concerned, league matches will go until November 3 and there will be a total 56 league matches. After that the top four teams shall qualify for the playoffs. 

The venues and the schedule for the first qualifier, eliminator and second qualifier schedule will be announced later. 

Final on a Weekday

Also, this has happened for the first time that the final will be held on a weekday. This decision is taken to fully make use of the Diwali week.
