The Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. has said that it is considering pay hikes and will also increase hiring, confirming that it has revived from the pandemic disruption. The global head of human resources, Milind Lakkad, said in a media statement. He informed that the salary raise would be effective from October 1, while announcing the company’s September quarterly results.
He said that they have boarded freshers in the Q2 and also anticipated the growth trajectory. In April, the company announced that it would not sack anyone’s job and would not rescind the 40000 new job offers, but would only freeze the hike in the salaries due to the uncertainty that cropped from the pandemic.
As the company has made profits this quarter, it is back to hiking the salaries and hiring new employees. Rajesh Gopinathan, the CEO, said in a statement that they are confident for the future and will continue to invest in their human resources.
