The Crown: Elizabeth Debicki to Play Princess Diana in Final Series

It is officially announced that the Australian Actress Elizabeth will be playing the Princess in the final two seasons of the famous web series ‘The Crown’ streaming on Netflix. The two seasons will cover the 1990s and the early 2000s. The actress will join Jonathan Pryce and Imelda Staunton for the hit royal drama. 

The seasons will try to show the spirit of the dynamic lady. Debicki too has remarked that Diana’s words and her actions are lingering in the hearts of so many and she feels fortunate and truly privileged having got the opportunity to play her character.

The fourth season of the web series will show the break-up of the Princess and Prince Charles. It will also cover her death in 1997 in a car crash, which finally put the royal family into a crisis like situation. The final two series will also show the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother.

It will be interesting to see how the 29-year-old actress manages to bring life to her character and keep up the legacy of her great artistic skills.
