The Grammy-winning singer put out the first trailer for her Super Bowl halftime show just a few hours ago. In the 30-second teaser, Rihanna is wearing an all-black outfit with a bright green fur coat and a lot of silver chains around her neck.
In the background of the video, old interview clips about her six-year break and her return to music play as she walks down an empty runway. Someone says, “Dude, Rihanna, we’ve been waiting for you.” “RiRi, where have you been?” they ask.

At the end of the trailer, Rihanna turns off all the voices, and right on cue, her song “Needed Me” starts to play, and she starts to dance.
Fans almost ran to the comments to talk about how excited they were about the new teaser. One fan said, “YASSSSSSSS,” and then put a bunch of heart emojis after it. “THE ENERGY WE NEED,” said someone else. Tracee Ellis Ross, who used to be on Black-ish, couldn’t help but leave a bunch of fire emojis under the post.
Who are the sponsors for Super Bowl Halftime Show?
Rihanna was announced as the performer for the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show back in September. Apple Music, instead of Pepsi, which has been the sponsor since 2013, will pay for the event this year.
The “Lift Me Up” singer shared a picture of herself holding an NFL football on Instagram to confirm the news. And in typical Bad Gal RiRi style, she just put a period at the end of the caption.
Please excuse us while we watch the teaser for the fourth time in a row…
