After the death of George Floyd, this week Oprah Winfrey will be hosting a town hall to discuss civil unrest and race in America. Among the featured guests would be 2 of the Georgia leaders.
On Tuesday and Wednesday around 9 pm at Discovery network there will be a special program of “OWN Spotlight: Where Do We Go From Here?” which is split into 2 parts.
In a press release, Winfrey said that she was discussing with her friends as well as thought leaders that what next will going to happen. She said that sharing ideas, comments, and concerns will be good for the nation.
Oprah Winfrey will speak with the artists, activists, and black leaders for the racism issues which are going the whole country. In this, the featured guest as per the press release is Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Georgia politician Stacey Abrams.
As per the CEO and President of Discovery, Inc., David Zaslav, no one is as Oprah Winfrey who can bring everyone together for offering perspective, action, and insights. They feel honored by being associated with OWN and use this medium to bring global issues such as social and economic justice as well as equality to people around.
