Twitter Blue will reportedly charge more from iPhones to offset ‘hidden 30 percent tax’

Twitter Blue may relaunch at two different price points depending on where you subscribe, according to a new report from The information. The premium plan can cost $11 if purchased through Twitter’s iOS app, or $7 per month if users subscribe through Twitter’s website. The price difference is likely an attempt to get around the 30 percent commission that Apple charges for many in-app purchases.
