The first day of quarterfinals concludes with Peru and Brazil advancing to the CONMEBOL Copa América 2021 semi-finals with victories over Paraguay and Chile, respectively.
At the Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will face Peru on Monday at 20:00 local time. Earlier in the round, Paraguay and Peru drew 3-3 on penalties on the opening day. Robert Rojas scored the third goal for Peru after Gianluca Lapadula put two in the Peruvian net before Gustavo Gómez struck for Paraguay.
