Which Black Friday Deals are Better – Walmart, Target, or Best Buy?

Share

Three top favourite Black Friday Destinations-Target, Walmart, And Best Buy have revealed their plans.

Walmart

Walmart is starting with their Black Friday Sales online on 4th November at 7 p.m; while in-store on November 7 at 5 a.m. Deals will be focused on electronics, toys, home products, and a lot more. The electronic deals will be working the same way. The online deals will begin on the evening of 11th November while the moving in-store will be early November 14. You will also have deals on home decor, apparel, and electronics in the third week. In-store sales will have limited customers to ensure social distancing, and measures like sanitized carts and many more are taken.

During deals events like Black Friday, Walmart almost always offers excellent price drops on plenty of Wirecutter-approved kitchen picks, including an array of small appliances from KitchenAid, Instant Pot, Nutribullet, and Cuisinart. The retailer also offers occasional discounts on both individual pans and cookware sets from Wirecutter-recommended brands like Tramontina and Lodge.

You’ll have better luck finding discounts on games for the XBox and PlayStation, as well as on gaming peripherals, like the Xbox controller (which will be on sale from Walmart for $40 starting November 25 at 7pm ET, and is already selling for that same price from Best Buy)

Best Buy

Best Buy has their Black Friday deals starting from November 22. The store will be closed for Thanksgiving and will open by 5.am for Black Friday. Just like Walmart, only limited customers are allowed, and face masks are compulsory. They are also offering contactless curbside pickup and in-store pickup with more delivery options than Walmart. Almost all stores will offer same-day delivery and free next day delivery across the country.

Best Buy is currently hosting better deals on TVs than any other retailer, particularly those that would be a great purchase alongside a PS5 or Xbox Series X. For instance, Best Buy has the Vizio 55-inch OLED starting at $900, which is a great price for a TV with an OLED panel.

If you’re signed in to a My Best Buy account (it’s free to join, only requiring an email address), you can get an extra $50 off an already great price of $1,400 on LG’s CX OLED TV. Normally around $1,700 (and not currently available on Amazon), this TV is a great deal at Best Buy.

Target

Target, too, like other retailers, is extending their Black Friday. Some of the deals are already in effect, while others will be on different weeks of November. Deals will be announced every Thursday. Target, too, will offer same-day delivery on some items. Target’s price match guarantee can prove useful as buyers can ask for price adjustments on any deal offered at a lower price than Target. Target Black Friday deals are here.
