Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Actor Amitabh Bachchan, slammed a troll who attacked her mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Navya had posted a new profile in which she spoke about growing up around strong working women. She had spoken about the influence women in her family had made on her while launching the Project Naveli, which is an organization dedicated to the promotion of gender equality.
A person had dropped a comment as to what work Navya’s mother does for a living. And she gave an apt reply to the troll by saying that she is an author, a writer, designer, wife, and mother. She also added a smiley face emoticon.
In her Instagram story, Navya shared the screenshot of the comment and said that being a mother and a wife is a full-time job and people shall not discredit any woman for being a homemaker. She added that a woman’s role is so important in the upbringing of the next generation, and so their contribution shall be supported rather than tearing it down.
This is not the first time when Navya has responded to trolls’ attacks. Many have praised Navya for her efforts when she had launched the Project last month. But many left comments to demotivate her. But she has responded to all with positivity. When one troll asked her to go get a job, she replied that she does have a job. And when a troll made fun of her vision of providing opportunity throughout India and asked her to at least make it possible for one town of Maharashtra, she replied to that also with calmness and said that surely she will and thanked the person for all the positivity and support
