Health Minister, India offers to take the First Vaccine Shot for Coronavirus to Alleviate the Safety Concerns
The Union Health Minister of India, Dr Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday that the COVID-19 vaccine will be available in the country by early 2021 and that the government is taking into consideration the crisis approval for high-risk settings.
He answered a lot of questions on social media regarding the concern over the safety of the coronavirus vaccine. To which he replied that if need be, he will take the first shot of the vaccine to put to rest the fear of the public.
There are nearly 973,175 active cases of COVID-19 in India, while 3,702,596 are discharged after treatment. India is breaking all records in reported cases in 24-hours time. Also, the death numbers have gone up to 1114 per day. By Saturday the total number of deaths has gone up to 78,586.
