In his upcoming memoir Spare, “Spare,” Prince Harry talks about the fight he had with his wife Meghan Markle and how he yelled at her.
Prince Harry talked about a fight he had with his wife, the former actress Meghan Markle, which eventually led him to go to therapy. In his upcoming book, Spare, he will talk about how their relationship changed after he “snapped” at her during a conversation. Because of this, he went to therapy to work through his problems.
He also said that Meghan left the room when she saw his reaction and told him that he couldn’t talk to her like that. She said very clearly that she would not want to raise her children in a place where disrespect is common.
Us Weekly published an excerpt from Prince Harry’s memoir Spare. In it, he talked about the incident and said, “Maybe the wine got to my head. Maybe fighting the press for weeks had worn me down. When the conversation went in an unexpected direction, I got angry. Then mad. Unreasonably, sloppily angry… Also, I was just too sensitive that night. I thought, “Why is she picking on me?” I got angry with her and treated her badly.
As soon as I said those words, I could feel everything in the room stop. The gravy stopped bubbling, and the air molecules stopped moving around. Even Nina Simone seemed to pause…” He said that the reason he was holding back his feelings wasn’t just this conversation; it came from deep inside him. “It came from deep inside, from a place that needed to be dug up, and it was clear I needed help with the job… I told her, “I’ve been to therapy.” “Prince William told me to go,” I said. Never met the right one.’ [It] didn’t work. She said quietly, “No.” ‘Try again.'”
Already, Harry’s new book is making quite a stir. Online excerpts of the book talk about his fights and arguments with Prince William and Meghan’s rocky relationship with Kate Middleton. Harry and Meghan gave up their royal titles in 2020 and spoke out about their hard life in the royal family. Their Netflix documentary series, Harry and Meghan, came out last month. It tells their story from the beginning of their relationship until they finally left the royal family.
