New Zealand beats Bangladesh by an innings to create a tie series

Christchurch: A brave century by wicketkeeper Liton Das made Bangladesh a tough nut to crack, but New Zealand finally broke through on Tuesday, winning the second cricket test with an innings and 117 runs to tie the two-match streak.

Das nearly batted with one hand for much of his innings after being hit on the glove. He endured a barrage of short-pitch bowling from New Zealand to book his second Test century with just 106 balls.
