Ruby Rose does not want to work as a Batwoman anymore. She has decided to leave the series of CW after doing one season and will leave the network as well as studio Warner Bros to do the tedious task of recasting for this iconic role. CNN such as Warner Bros. is being owned by WarnerMedia.

She said in a statement that she had made the most difficult decision not to return as Batwoman for next season. She said that the New Black is Orange. She also said that this decision she had not made in a light mode. She thanked the producer Sarah Schechter, Caroline Dries, and Greg Berlanti for giving this unbelievable opportunity. Batwoman is filmed in British Columbia, Vancouver, just a few days before has wrapped its season freshman. Just like the other series due to pandemic coronavirus could not able to do the production.

The CW who are announcing that their schedule for the 2020- 2021 season program at the beginning of a schedule. Now stating that they could not able to return with the second season till 2021. Warner Bros. Television, The CW as well as Berlanti Productions had thanked Ruby for all her contribution to the first season and wished her best of luck for future endeavors. In a joint statement by all the three companies, they said about their commitment for the second season of Batwoman and its long-term future. They will proceed with their new search in the near months.

During the first season production, Rose got injured but this does not have anything to do with her departure. She is being cast to play the role of Kate Kane which is a very excited character and first among the LGBTQ series that had led to dominated superhero roles. The CW, Waren Bros., and producers had stated that the new star would also be the member of an LGBTQ community just like Rose.

Rose said thank you to Mark Pedowitz, Peter Roth, and also a team of The CW and Warner Bros. as they put so much effort into the show and always had belief in her. She thanked everyone who had made the season a success.
