Tracee Ellis Ross ‘Wept A Lot’ During The Final Season Of ‘Black-ish’

Tracee Ellis Ross reflects on her sad goodbye to “Black-ish.”

The hit show’s series finale is planned to premiere on April 19, capping off eight outstanding seasons.

During a Monday, April 11 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the six-time Emmy Award nominee said that saying farewell to the show was “quite emotional.”

“I cried a lot,” she recounted. “There is no ceremony associated with the conclusion of a television broadcast. It’s difficult to let go of something that has become your world, your family, and your life.”

Ross also played the “5 Second Rule” game and reflected on the celebrities who visited her family as a child.
