Vow by the BTS Fans for raising $ 1 Million for initiative #Black Lives Matter
Fans of BTS are using the power of twitter to meet the donation of $ 1 million for the Black Lives Matter. Till Sunday morning they had collected half of the amount with a day.
On Saturday, an agency of BTS, Big Hit Entertainment, given the confirmation of donation to Variety without stating anything. On Thursday they gave a tweet that they are supporting Black Lives Matter and everyone should support racial discrimination. We should not support all this and stand together with each other.
The thing which is there in the ARMY is they are supporting the cause which is promoted by BTS. They had raised for the “Love Myself” campaign by UNICEF Korea with around $ 1.4 million in the year 2018 to end the violence on children and teens.
When J-Hope a BTS rapper had a request for raising money for his 25th birthday in 2019, they had raised money to adopt as well as protect around 37 red squirrels in Scotland. Because as per the organizer J-Hope seems to be a squirrel mostly when he eats and during that time his cheeks come out. When in February, there was a cancellation of tour dates for Korea due to coronavirus issues by BTS. Then ARMY diverted its fund and made a donation of $ 333,000 towards the Korea Disaster Relief Association.
Now ARMY is raising donations under #MatchAMillion by the use of ActBlue by allowing fans to spilled their fund among different organizations or by allocating these to a specific organization.
